These terms apply when you use eastcoastcollective.co.za and when you plan a journey with East Coast Collective (we, us). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What we do
We design bespoke private expeditions along South Africa's East Coast. The information on this website is a general guide and is not an offer. Nothing is booked until we confirm it in writing. The price, payment terms, cancellation terms and inclusions for your journey are set out in the written quote and booking confirmation we send you, and these apply together with these terms.
Partners and operators
Your journey is delivered together with partner lodges, private reserves, dive and surf operators, guides and transport providers. They may have their own terms, rules and safety requirements, which you agree to follow.
Adventure, wildlife and ocean risk
Safari, surfing, diving, hiking and other outdoor and water activities involve real risk, including injury, changeable weather and sea conditions, and encounters with wild animals. You take part voluntarily. You agree to follow your guides' instructions, to tell us honestly about your health, fitness and experience, and to hold any certification an activity requires, such as a diving qualification. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers medical care and emergency evacuation. We may change, delay or cancel an activity if we believe it is unsafe.

Information on this site is general. Please seek medical advice before you travel and check entry requirements for your own nationality.
Accuracy and availability
We work to keep the website accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or current. Wildlife sightings, sea conditions, swell, visibility and seasonal events such as the sardine run cannot be promised.
Our content
The text, photographs, video, logo and design on this website belong to East Coast Collective or are used with permission. Please do not copy, reproduce or reuse them without our written permission.

Our website may link to other websites, which we do not control and are not responsible for.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, East Coast Collective is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside our control such as weather, natural events, illness, strikes, road or flight disruption, or the actions of third parties. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
